Cookie Policy
This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on nexvork.com and inside the Nexvork application, what they do, and how you can control them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser. Cookies let a site remember your preferences and authenticate you between requests. Some are essential for the site to work; others help us understand usage so we can improve the product.
2. Categories of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off.
- sessionid — keeps you signed in across page loads.
- csrftoken — protects against cross-site request forgery.
- nexvork-theme — stores your light/dark theme preference (local storage).
2.2 Functional
Remember choices you make to give you a better experience.
- nexvork-locale — your preferred language.
- nexvork-recent-views — recently viewed records inside the app.
2.3 Analytics
Aggregated, anonymised usage data so we can improve the product. We do not sell this data and we do not use it to track you across other websites.
- _nx_session — counts unique sessions per day.
- _nx_pv — page-view count for the current visit.
3. Third-party cookies
We use a small number of trusted third parties for essential infrastructure. They may set their own cookies when you interact with their features:
- Payment processor — sets cookies on our checkout pages for fraud prevention.
- Email infrastructure — anonymised open / click tracking on transactional emails.
We do not embed advertising cookies or social-network tracking pixels on our site.
4. How to control cookies
- Most browsers let you view, manage, or delete cookies from their settings.
- You can block all cookies, but the Nexvork application will not work without "strictly necessary" cookies.
- Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in every footer.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we add, remove, or change a cookie. Material changes will be announced in our product release notes.
